What a shock or maybe not. He is young but has been at it all his life. It would be interesting to see him in V8's though.

I think anyone who retires at the peak of their career inevitably regrets their decision.....Casey Stoner could have been one of the greatest but instead has decided he has had enough.....Good luck to him but I do not think he will succeed in the V8 Supercars!!!

Listening to Stoner last night he was pretty clear that the MotoGP world is what he has gotten sick of. He seems to feel it is very cold and not a supportive family. Not sure he isn't being a bit precious but that's his choice. He has done V8 testing so it would seem an announcement is not far away.

Respect Casey.
He's got a wife and a little 'un now, and Moto Gp ain't the safest of sports around. I guess it probably hit home after the death of Simoncelli. Best of luck with whatever he does. |

Going from having enough room to park a semi, to going 3 or 4 cars wide into a tight corner is a HUGE difference.
I am looking forward to see where his career goes, and certainly have a lot of hope for him. |
