There are quite a few of them if you look around. Here's one - a mechanic's workshop (I would imagine that originally it was also a service station) on the Parramatta Road at Summer Hill:

I love art-deco architecture.

We have some nice examples in my town.

You're not going to believe this Kat but we have consensus. I am a great fan of Art Deco and there are some great examples of it in the Blue Mountains. There is a great Art Deco shop in Katoomba Street Katoomba called Heart of Stone, also many other examples particularly in Katoomba and old style town.

There you go, who said we couldn't agree on anything...Have a happy Easter...You too Francis, Peter Freedman and Annie, Annie I know you are Muslim but enjoy the Easter Eggs!.

Actually spent most of mine helping a mate with his home extensions....

Here's one of our local ones. Built in 1933, and currently home to a local firm of solicitors.

Here's an interesting mixture: the Zanzi-Bar in Newtown. A Victorian era building with Art Deco embellishments. I assume that it must have had a makeover around 1930.....

Learner driver at work here. Can someone tell me how to upload some Art Deco photos of Katoomba, from My Pictures on my computer to this blog please.
