Title: Cyclist seek revenge on cowards
Post by Doctor Jolly on Mar 27th, 2012 at 8:46am

Funny story, about two cowardly car drivers too scared to show their faces after attacking a cyclists, and now they have 4000 vigilantees after them.

I hope punishment is swift and severe.

Fair enough. But a cyclist on a double line road with single-lane makes cars either wait while he pedals s-l-owly to the passing dotted lines, or overtake. I paid a big fine for crossing double lines (where do those police cars come from?) and it is of course dangerous for all if a car is across the line in a twisting road.

It occurred at a set of lights in Newtown - he really wouldn't have slowed anyone down that much.

I just love cyclists who shoot straight through stop signs, or suddenly swerve across pedestrian crossings (when they are NOT pedestrians). And there are hundreds who do so.

When confronted by a cyclist on a pedestrian crossing, I like to miss them by as little as possible. :D

Until the day you don't.

How stupid.

I'm 15 km out of town on a twisting road and have had near misses on double lines. It means slowing to .00405 km/hour and then having to get back to speed to pass safely before the next oncoming car on a dangerous bend.

I dont have anything against cyclists if they hug the curb.
But most are like 700m out and they always do it on busy as smacking roads

Don't even pretend you're old enough to drive.

A wheelbarrow is a vehicle. You could zip out in front of a cyclist and make him wait.

Sensitive and empathic, perhaps - not necessarily mature. You're immaturity is made obvious through your expression.

but don't worry - lots of the opinions of supposedly mature people on this forum are formed with a lack of any kind of emotional intelligence.

In any case, I am not attacking you or denying the fact that you're smart (for a kid...lol). Just making an observation.

Expression?

The problem with opinions of supposedly mature people on this site and in general is too much emotional 'intelligence'.
They ignore facts and evidence and base an opinion of perceived values and emotional attachments to a sense of personality behind a view. For example they stick to their ‘right’ view because they have brought up to oppose rather than evaluate. This goes for lefts as well, but there is a median.

See logic is derived when you ignore emotion and make an opinion based on facts and evidence.
This is what I do.
This takes many years of wisdom to understand that a kid could not have done

It is true for almost every conversation that happens on this site. Most people find it impossible to defer from right to left or left to right even if they are obviously wrong.

Emotional intelligence depends upon the ability to understand how and why we feel the way we do. Knee jerk reactions of fear because of cultural conditioning (which is what I believe you're talking about) shows a profound lack of emotional intelligence.

No. most definitely not.

The definition of what the difference between a "terrorist" and a "freedom fighter" is purely political.

If there is extremists who is Israeli who tries to shoot women and children then they can be called terrorist.

But please understand differences between removal of terrori threat and accident deaths of civilians compare to deliberate kill of women and children with bomb on school bus and in markets.

Terrorist targets women and children.
That is my justification.

I had this opinion on all - nothing to do with Israel.

Any where in world this is terrorism.

We (IDF) never targets women and children.

i thought youre definition was "innocent civilians", now youre excluding innocent men ?

Find me a "side" that hasnt targeted innocents, and I might agree with you. But there hasnt. The US carpet bombed iraq, while only showing you footage of the laser-guided missiles.  Is the US army a terrorist ?

Ask any "terrorist" whether they would rather blow up a car bomb, or use a laser-guided missile on the leader of their target (all costs covered) and I'm sure they'd all choose the later.
