This is worthy of a read, get a load of what they asked his mum to do:

Boy, 7, branded a racist for asking schoolmate: 'Are you brown because you come from Africa?'
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2103175/Boy-7-branded-racist-asking-schoolmate-Are-brown-come-Africa.html#ixzz1mnPCRMjK

Quote:
The mother of a seven-year-old boy was told to sign a school form admitting he was racist after he asked another pupil about the colour of his skin.

Elliott Dearlove had asked a five-year-old boy in the playground whether he was ‘brown because he was from Africa’.

His mother, Hayley White, 29, said she received a phone call last month to say her son had been at the centre of a ‘racist incident’.

She was then summoned to a meeting with Elliott, his teacher and the deputy head of Griffin Primary School in Hull.

Quote:
Ms White, an NHS healthcare assistant, said: ‘When I arrived at the school and asked Elliott what had happened, he became extremely upset.

'He kept saying to me, “I was just asking a question. I didn’t mean it to be nasty” and he was extremely distressed by it all.’

Quote:
Ms White claimed she was asked at the meeting to read a copy of the school rules and in particular its zero-tolerance policy on racism.

‘I was told I would have to sign a form acknowledging my son had made a racist remark which would be submitted to the local education authority for further investigation,’ she said.

‘I refused to sign it and I told the teacher in no way did I agree the comment was racist. My son is inquisitive. He always likes to ask questions, but that doesn’t make him a racist.’

Now that is messed up.
A lot of people on this site would be in deep strife if they had to go back to school  :D

Racism, sexism, homophobia.

Everywhere you turn these days if you believe the media and society.

People just need to be a bit more fking sensible and not so precious.

The comment would have been racist if it came from an older person but, at 7 years of age, could he really be expected to understand that?

It was probably an innocent question. The school staff did a great job of overreacting.

Are the teacher and Deputy Head stupid, over reactionary morons because they're Pommy gits?

By the way, I was just asking a question. I didn’t mean it to be nasty.   ;)

Great argument for home-schooling, IMO.

Not an isolated incident either - this is the brave new world the left demanded.

The school had launched an investigation after the younger boy told his mother about Elliott’s comment and she complained

Some people are so paranoid they teach their children to be insecure and react to everything.....I grew up with black fellas and didn't find anything unusual in the color of their skin.....I find it strange that someone would find such an innocuous comment from a child offensive.....The mother obviously has issues she is projecting onto her child and the school is supporting it.....Just plain stupid IMO!!!

So what is wrong with having brown skin? Or being African?

Sounds like the teachers are the racists.

It is now offensive to tinted people if you notice that they are tinted.

But the tinted people will never let whitey forget how racist he is because is not tinted.

If that is the whole context, the school has stuffed up badly.

Poor Soren. It's not easy being white.

It is a pity that our stinkin' leftist teachers don't take as much interest in bullying - an innocent remark about colour causing a storm when teeth knocked out would have earned a shrug of the shoulders.

There is nothing wrong about being brown, sepia or black besides, there are more people of this complexion than those of light skin.

Now, if someone was Green that would be an excuse to be sensitive.

Another inadvertent advertisement for private schools.
And another public school over reaction.
