You'll find this easy to navigate around. At the bottom of the page is a small bar that while you're on this part of the  forum will say 'Film, Television and Radio' if you click on that it will take you anywhere - including 'Favourites' all the threads you want to keep an eye on.

I don't see a bar at the bottom of the page.  Am I missing out on some free drinks?

Thanks for the welcome grey goddy, though I'm not sure I have a lot to say because I don't watch the ABC or other telly much any more. I prefer to comment on news stories and issues, ie reality, if that's not appropriate here, let me know and I'll go elsewhere. The Aussie Stock Forum is not really my deal, as one of the members said "it's the cyber branch of the Liberal party". Ok for some, but almost totally one-eyed

Oh what's he on about then? Reaction? Debate? Enjoyment etc? HYS was all that. Plus they had it with an internal service without the baggage of advertising. What was missing then? Revenue perhaps. Anything else missing? Yeah. The intuition to realize what a gem HYS was for the corporation & the mental capacity to take advantage of it.

But I don't care anymore 'cause as they say in the  classics, I'm a bumble-bee*. Mad Men was great tonight wasn't it!

Nah... Ronnie Corbett was involved... might have been on the Two Ronnies or one of the earlier shows I mentioned above. Anyway, to cut to the chase as they said on The Bill, the skit was set in an airliner cabin. The Captain came on with the standard briefing that no one listens to; "Good afternoon, thank you for flying etc... we'll be flying at x thousdand feet... weather at the destination is.... keep your seat belts fastened because there is likely to be some mild turbulence ahead but I don't care 'cause I'm a bumble bee."

That kinda got the passengers attention. The skit ended up with the co-pilot chasing the captain around the cabin with a butterfly net. He finally succumbed to a can of insect spray.

Well it was funny at the time... I'm off to buy a latte.
