I agree with Political Puppet's insight into USA.
Its true - only the 'pro-American' minority in these poor countries get the money and its money to keep these countries poor for national security reasons.

What we must consider when condemning the USA is that they never had Australia to learn from as a precendence and thus many mistakes are made for fear of doing nothing at all.
Its easy for us to call Americans 'stupid' etc, as we have 'their mistakes' to learn from.
