Was just reading a news story on illegal workers.

A team of 22 officers from the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) simultaneously raided three adjoining residences, detaining 10 men and six women. A department spokesman says the illegal workers have been transferred to Maribyrnong Immigration Detention Centre and will be removed from Australia as soon as possible. The operation follows one near Mildura where 12 farm workers in breach of their visa conditions were found and removed from Australia. "Operations like these serve as a warning to the community that they face serious consequences for remaining in Australia without a valid visa or for employing illegal workers," the spokesman said.

how is that a serious consequence?
keeping the proceeds of crime..
little time spent detained..
free flight home.......

These will most probably be plane people rather than boat people I suppose.....

i dont care what way they entered the country.. they get to profit from crime and get a free flight home out of it.

I’m all for shipping out immigrants and asylum seekers.. If that includes all white folk that stole this land from the aborigines.

Whites are not immigrants,, a lot of us were political prisoners, who built this country and saved the abo from extinction, gave them education, clothes, houses(firewood), medicine, cars, petrol, and sit down money... a thankyou would be nice....

Right and asylum seekers are political prisoners too, slight differences but at the end of the day they get killed if they go back just like we would have got killed if we tried to escape or something.
We built this country to what we believed was right, not them; there is nothing to say that this way of life is better then what they had been doing for 50,000 years.
And we didn’t save them from extinction what the hell are you talking about? We gave them education after stealing them from their families, and what the hell firewood..Seriously?
They didn’t need medicine before we came and infected half their population.

Your seriously deluded and if anything you have just reinfirmed why we should embrace asylum seekers and immigrants. They will bring new things and widen our culture and society.
