Rudd appears quite frustrated by all the leadership questions.

I love how the media ban by Gillard is only adding fuel to the fire.

Who cares.
There both as incompetent as each other, but Kruddy has had his 15 minutes of fame.
Perhaps Juliar should get her personal hairdresser to slap Kruddy around some with his handbag to knock some sense into him.

That's because it's just media hype.

Rudd is not coming back, no matter what Four Corners says.

But I'll watch it to see.

As the man said, journalists are there to entertain:

EDIT: Well... that's weird! I embedded another clip but the board insists on playing woody's one. Hmm... Ruddy must have his gremlins hard at work!

Here's the link to my clip (I hope): http://youtu.be/W9pmYPJt8qg

Or when Wilkie was about to be shafted.

What talk? There wasn't any. One day we woke up and Gillard was PM.

Good thing she didnt tell us there was more chance of her becoming full forward for the bulldogs or going to the moon in response to the questions.

Look, watch Four Corners, enjoy the speculation, post a thread about it if you like.

Kevin Rudd will not challenge, and Julia will go to the next election.

The Labor Party are not beyond insanity, but they do pay attention to all that polling they do. In fact, that's about all they do.

Remember, you heard it from me first.

CANBERRA OBSERVED:
Costello's future linked to Howard's fate

by News Weekly

News Weekly, April 21, 2001
Peter Costello has finally put to an end all speculation of a challenge to John Howard's leadership this side of the Federal election, according to a discreetly placed Sydney newspaper report.

The Treasurer has reportedly told his eager backers to cease all their behind-the-scenes lobbying on his behalf and to concentrate on the job of re-electing the Government.

An open acknowledgement that there would now be no test of John Howard's leadership would have only raised speculation of an aborted challenge, so the Treasurer's minders apparently provided a "background briefing" to send a clear but non-damaging message to the media, the backbench, and presumably Mr Howard himself.

Speculation rife of leadership challenge against Howard
Prime Minister John Howard has issued a warning to restless Liberals not to indulge in selfish behaviour as speculation over a future leadership challenge escalates. Mr Howard's message is directed towards supporters of his deputy, Peter Costello, after reports the Treasurer would be prepared to mount a leadership challenge if the Prime Minister does not step aside next year. Mr Howard has raised the stakes further, again hinting he may never retire.

Costello won't rule out challenge

Treasurer Peter Costello has not ruled out challenging Prime Minister John Howard's leadership during the government's current term.

Mr Costello stressed today that the Liberal Party was at its best when it facilitated a smooth transition to a new leadership.

His comments followed renewed leadership speculation, with News Ltd newspapers reporting Mr Howard had said he intended leading the coalition into the next election.

Notice the years? 2001, 2002, 2005... I could have kept going but I think even you may get the picture.

which of course is what a politically-savvy PM would have realised would happen. all the media ban has done is making her look more desperate and adding to the tension.

Her political nous is sadly lacking.

Gillard was preparing her PM acceptance speech, two weeks prior.

Gee, makes her look a nasty calculating bewitch.
