Driving out the back of Hay in NSW. I was astounded to see vast properties with no trees and cattle grazing. I'm thinking that it gets pretty hot, let alone dry (air) out here and all these cows have no trees to stand under for cool shade. All that I saw besides blue sky on the horizon was the odd mound of muddy damn water where the majority of cows seemed to be congregating in the afternoon sun.

I wonder? Is this a form of animal cruelty?
