Why would women vote for an all talk and no motor type guy with no plan for a post mining boom Australia thats only redeeming quality was the unsustainable separation of Rich and Poor!!! ???!!

Gee, Malcolm Turnbull looks like he is recasting his image as of late...

Just as he did during his speech to the National Press Club last week, Mr Abbott harked back to the days when John Howard ran the country, describing the period as "a golden age of prosperity - which is now gone".

Under Howard, Mr Abbott said more than two million new jobs were created, real wages increased by more than 20 per cent and the real net wealth of every Australian more than doubled.

He said since Labor came to power in 2007 real net wealth per person had declined, "productivity has stagnated and 2011 was the first year in more than two decades when not a single net new job was created".

In other words, if the government should attempt to debate the serious subject of the state of the economy, the opposition will respond with a stale scare campaign.

He was a member of the government that paid off Keatings' nearly $100bn debt, left Rudd with a huge surplus (which he turned into a debt in next to no time), oversaw a surge in the economy and low interest rates. Seems like he has a better chance of managing the economy effectively than anyone in the ALP right now!
