Title: Australia sold off to Highest Bidder
Post by red baron on Feb 1st, 2012 at 9:20am
All the cashed up Countries of the World are lining up to buy Australia. Even Gina Rheinhardt has sold off 15% of her interests to a South Korean Steel manufacturer for a reported 12 billion dollars.

Our farms are going at a rapid rate to China, Japan, India anyone who has the dollars. Our Government only wants to know if something has been sold off if it above $231  million dlrs.

Quite frankly the Australian Government has had its collective head up its bum so long on this issue that it wouldn't have the first clue how much of Australia is owned for Foreign Interests.

Its time we did the same thing as China. You cannot own land over there. They keep it for themselves then go to dumb arsed countries like ours and buy up our National Treasures.

I say it is time for the stroke of the pen. The one that says, you can lease it but you can't buy it. Make the law retrospective, so that all these hungry vultures can line up and give our own Country back to us.

That’s how the globalized system works, not much we or the government can do about it when we are following that system.

Aviagen Poultry, an American created (but German owned, by a non-poultry company) monster that owns 90% of the global market is now in Australia to 'take over' and crush the enemy of Australia's Inghams, Biata and Steggles. They have already dissolved the Aust Chicken Sexing Association and brought in Koreans via back(door)packer visas.

So, as I keep saying: The PM serves the USA, the Gov-Gen serves the UK, the UK serves the USA anayway and Federal Level Politics always serves the International Scene over Australia's priorities and needs first.

Oh, by the way - the UK wan't its Union Jack back from a nation of 'bludgers' and hanger-onners. Chances are it will remove it anyway and say "You're on your own! Don't you just love Freedom.(Here come the wolves)"

We can take back this country anytime we want. It only takes the will. When I look at our history of the Anzacs and the real courage that was there, I wonder what the hell has happened in today's generation.

I still think it's there you know. Once we get our dumb heads around the fact that these multi nationals are reaming us royally, one day I thing the average Aussie will have had enough and will stand up. I'm not talking Liberal or Labor, it will take something that was born out of the Eureka Stockade to turn this country around.

Up the revolution!

Why do you think that stopping foreign investment will be a good thing.

1st the compensation required to buy back the farm would bankrupt the nation.

2nd a great number farms and businesses would have to close as there would not be enough demand for the amount of goods produced (we produce more then we comsume for most products in this country). We would not be able to sell to the OS markets as there would be boycotts on our goods from basically the rest of the world.

so where would the benefit to Australia come from.
All we would end up with is Higher national debt (due to loans needed to pay comapensation), Higher unemployment, economic depression, and the rejection of the rest of the world.

I guess if your desired outcome is third world status then your on a winner.

You need to stop voting for the major parties. They will sell you out as quick as look at you and then tax the sh.t out of you as a bonus :(

What do you imagine will happen to the farm if an overseas interest buys it? It's not like they can pack it up and take it overseas.

Well Japan is too crowded. But China defintley has plenty of foreign corporations on its soil.
Anyway china owns a lot of the wests debt, even tho they are in debt themselves they have more capability to pay it back.

Know we all have some small idea of how our indig brothers feel about their land being taken away without any due respect our existent rights being acknowledged - excepting that as for us thieves and reciepient of stolen goods, the feeling of loss is really just a sinking reminder of how crappy karma can be in effect on our lives when it comes and bits us on the arse....................

Have no fear. We have intelligent leadership. At the moment we have the ALP in charge and you know that the ALP is the workers' friend.

Our farmers started selling out to the Japanese in the 1980"s.

Mitsubishi bought a few of them, they own a fair chunk of the beef trade which by Japanese law must be flown to Japan on a Japanese airline if using airfreight.

About 15 years ago the japs were paying around $100 kg for rump steak.
Does wagyu beef sound japanese to you?

Our produce is superior to the imported stuff i dont care if it costs a little more.

I think Britain should buy Australia back.  Let's make it the fifth member of the United Kingdom.

So some of you are worried about my radical proposal i.e. Legislate to make it illegal 'To Own' Australian land. They can lease it but that's all.

Have you thought for a second what a bountiful country Australia is. Until foreign interests butchered our manufacturing industry we had a thriving sector, engineering, clothes, footwear you name it.

Now because of 'Globalisation and third world workers in sweat shops, our manufacturing industry is all but dead. Did you know that they land T shirts here from 50 cents to $1.50 per item then many schmucks with too much dough go out and pay $60 per item on my knees laughing here!

Should we choose to shut the door, we have everything we need from minerals to food. We can even produce oil aplenty for our needs.

What we lack is the will. We are being pushed around the room by the world bullies and I say it is time we did a bit of pushing ourselves!

But we can't just shut the door, if we do every other country might just shut the door on us Australia , and we won't be able to travel anywhere either.

Cool! A captive market! We should sell more of our farms to Japan!!  :D

So Mitsubishi buys a plot of land, grows some cows on it and ships them back to Japan. So what? What did you think an Australian farmer was going to do with them? Meanwhile, Mitsubishi employs our people to farm the cattle, buys our feedstock, fuel, etc, and pays taxes to our governments at all the usual points along the line, same as an Australian farmer would have done.

So what else do you imagine will happen if we sell the farm to an overseas interest?

China owns a lot of 'farms' and other 'resource' situations in Africa. The thing is, they mostly hire Chinese to work them at a 50% ratio to the locals. Seems fair, but they pay the locals far less.

Australia has never been owned by Australians.
Until some poor bugger is crucified upon the Southern Cross - there is no such thing as an Australian ...no matter how much you yell "oi oi oi !!!", etc.

One of the reasons the USA and Indonesia would NOT attack Australia is because if you attack Australia ...YOU TAKE ON THE WORLD !!!
If Australia ever got invaded for its own sake (not those Mercenary missions called ANZAC for the USA/UK into countries like Turkey and Vietnam who 'dig in' far deeper than invasive 'Diggers' :-[)
...a lot of nations would rally to our support.
Soon as we 'side' with the USA/UK then we are fair game. Thats why Nippon (Japan for the economically inferior Imperialists like Westerners), didn't feel 'guilty' for attacking our shores.

What I am getting at dear friends, is that the supply of farms and land is finite, the same as the ever shrinking world is. One day all the land will be owned by foreign interests and we will be slaves in our own land.

I say take it all bloody well back, before we reach tipping point.

The way Labor is mis-managing this Country I hold the greatest fears. We had a national surplus and money in the bank when Labor took over,  now we borrow hundreds of millions (not a misquote) from China each and every day.

The only damned thing this Government does well is spend bucket loads of money mainly on crap. I pity the Liberals because it will take a decade for them to pay it back once these imbeciles get turfed out at the next election. (Just the same as the Liberals inherited huge debt from Labor last time they were in power).

Actually, I think the  Yellow people will be forced to build their 'citi-zens' underground like the ants that they are and allow the Black people to reclaim all the lands back and turn them into National Parks, Wilderness and farms galore.

Take a look at Pyramids - you can't tell me the Yellow people were like Termites there amongst other 'city' oreintated expressions in South America too.
(Hence why Egypt sticks out alone amongst the other Middle-East nations)

Oh, and notice how Yellow people wanna buy out all of Australian Mining ;)

Oh, and abouot 5 years ago, Australian Aboriginals claimed 'Land Rights' to North America which really freaked the Namerindians out and its still an ongoing issue ;D

Yes but the liberals will just sell off more public assets to balance the books and they will flog them to anyone who has got the readies.

People should just role up to the voting booths and vote informal. Get rid of both of the major parties and stop this mass sell off now !!

The will? Yes, everyone from mining companies to retailers to good old Aussie consumers wants to pay squat for Chinese imports.

Tony Abbott will probably fund another buy Australian campaign while following Gillard's policy of abolishing tarrifs completely.

Few people remember how much cars, electronics and clothes used to cost before we outsourced our slave labour to Asia.

If you want cheapish goods, high wages and a low population, it comes with costs.
