Where I live we have had the driest November ever, and the coldest day in December ever recorded.. to date.  

And now it is RAINING.  Yippee.!!!  
Sounds SO good , smells so good, ....all signs are for another wet season!!.  

Hopefully not as bad as the last, - putting it from an urban perspective. Personally I love the rain, and it'll be gone all too soon. :)

Its raining steadily  :) :) :) :) :) ,  and there is more to come.

We live in the same general area, I think.

And yes, it's lovely.

I especially like the frog chorus, and the sound of water dripping from the trees.  It has sort of stopped here for now, but there is definitely more to come.

This has been a better summer so far than I could have hoped for ... my least favourite time in QLD.

Heaven -  yep another day in Paradise, QLD style.

Got a couple of loads of washing out - but onlyone and 1/2  loads in.

But I don't care - there's more rain coming --   :) :) :)

We should get together some time. Now that would be scary.

Well, I've met people from internet forums before. My wife and I will be in Brisbane on the 17th. Maybe all the Brisbanites could catch up for a meal or something.

Good to be able to reply again -  yesterday ...well that was explained by the News.!!

THe reason the forum looks different is that FD has upgraded from Yabb 2.1.2 to 2.5SE.  That's jumped about 8 versions.  2.5SE is the most recent available.  It's like going from Windows 2000 to Windows 7 in one hit.

You know, once people actually meet in person, it can defuse a lot of that friction. Irony doesn't always come through well in written words.

sounds like you've had some interesting experiences. :)

LOL. Well we don't get in until about 6pm anyway and we're staying near the airport.

The timing might be a bit tight this time and it's like 4 days away. I can coordinate via PM's. We can make it about 8pm or something, maybe in the CBD. We'll leave the details private just in case life_goes_on turns up naked in a ski mask.
