Two Test series against South Africa.

South Africa are a good side and Australia's bowling attack is very inexperienced. It should be a good contest. Australia 15-man Test squad Name - State - Age Michael Clarke (c) NSW 30 Shane Watson (vc) NSW 30 Michael Beer WA 27 Trent Copeland NSW 25 Patrick Cummins NSW 18 Brad Haddin NSW 33 Ryan Harris QLD 32 Phil Hughes NSW 22 Mike Hussey WA 36 Mitchell Johnson WA 29 Usman Khawaja NSW 24 Nathan Lyon SA 23 Shaun Marsh WA 28 Ricky Ponting TAS 36 Peter Siddle VIC 26 South Africa 14-man Test squad Graeme Smith (capt) AB de Villiers (vice-capt) Hashim Amla Mark Boucher JP Duminy Paul Harris Imran Tahir Jacques Kallis Morne Morkel Vernon Philander Ashwell Prince Jacques Rudolph Dale Steyn Lonwabo Tsotsobe Players I think will influence the series! Harris helps Bulls belt Tigers
A career-best haul of 7-60 wasn't what warranted a smile from Test quick Ryan Harris after inspiring Queensland's Sheffield Shield thrashing of Tasmania at the Gabba today. He had his eye on another statistic - 34.4 overs for the match. On the comeback trail from a hamstring complaint, Harris said emerging unscathed from that workload gave him the shot of confidence he needed before linking with the Test team in South Africa this weekend. :) http://www.brisbanetimes.com.au/sport/cricket/harris-helps-bulls-belt-tigers-20111027-1mlpq.html |

Australia clinches series over Proteas
Michael Clarke maintained his winning record as captain after Australia clinched the decisive one-day international against South Africa in Durban by three wickets. Clarke is now undefeated in one Test series and three ODI series since succeeding Ricky Ponting as skipper. Michael Hussey, named man of the series, played a vintage unbeaten knock of 45 from 64 to guide Australia past South Africa's target of 6 for 222 with 15 balls to spare. http://www.abc.net.au/news/2011-10-29/australia-clinches-series-over-proteas/3607844/?site=sport§ion=cricket Well played Australia, now for the Test series!!! |

Michael Clarke denies playing a role in Simon Katich's sacking; says the former opener hasn't helped his cause
Michael Clarke has reaffirmed his stance that he played no role in the downfall of Simon Katich, despite the former Test opener candidly admitting his frosty relationship with Australia's skipper contributed to his demise. On Friday, a honest Katich again expressed his disappointment at his axing from Cricket Australia's list of contracted players and hinted that his dressing room scuffle with Clarke in 2009 had played a role in his sacking. "You don't have to be Einstein to figure out that it's not just the selectors who had a part in sending me on my way," Katich said after scoring a hundred for NSW against Victoria in Sydney. "To be brutally honest, what happened in the dressing room a few years ago didn't help my cause." There was a generational gap between some of the senior players and Clarke which was highlighted when Katich grabbed him by the throat during dressing room celebrations at the SCG Test three years ago. After hours of celebration following a Test victory over South Africa, Clarke - who is not a big drinker - wanted to fulfil plans to catch up with family and friends but there was an insistence he stay until the team song had been sung. http://www.foxsports.com.au/cricket/australia/michael-clarke-denies-playing-a-role-in-simon-katichs-sacking-says-the-former-opener-hasnt-helped-his-cause/story-fn2mcu3x-1226180138723 |

Interesting 1st day, rain, pitch doing a bit and Clark hits a near run-a-ball ton!
8-214 Good to see Marsh keep his spot (was never going to lose it) and put another score (44) on the board. He deserves this chance and I hope he put in 4-5 really good years. Other than Johnson (20) no other contributors with the bat. Brad Haddin will be dying to make a run soon! Good to see Siddle given another go as well |

Absolutely shithouse, but somehow, we've still got a chance to win it. What the hell did they do to the pitch overnight? It went from a pitch where Clarke could hit 151 runs, to a pitch where 20 wickets fell for less than that. |
Title: Re: Cricket - Australia v South Africa Post by Sprintcyclist on Nov 11th, 2011 at 1:51pm I don't think about it now, it just hurts too much |

Bocks 2 - 236 won by 8 wickets.... :o The next wicket will be a road no doubt. |

So Roebuck has done hinmself in, and all the media clan are bestowing laurels, while failing to report on the circumstances of his death.

Perhaps they are exercising due respect and restraint - not least because the facts aren't yet fully known!? Hint: this newly deceased man probably has grieving loved ones who might take offence to inaccurate reporting of the sudden and tragic circumstances of his death!? |

Ummmm....has someone been deleting my Posts? If so, who, and why?
Just checked. Yes, my Posts exposing the truth surrounding this loser's suicide have been removed. Why? >:( |
Title: Re: Cricket - Australia v South Africa Post by Aussie on Nov 17th, 2011 at 8:29pm
The Moderator of this Sub-Forum has confirmed he deleted Posts I made which included links to the facts about this loser and why he threw himself out a sixth floor window. Those facts have today received further support with the revelation that a 26 year old African male was being 'groomed' by Roebuck who asked said Male to call him Dad. Later, in a Hotel Room where the two met, Roebuck sexually assaulted the Male. The very strong implication is that it was the very same Room from which Roebuck threw himself, but that is not clear.
The Mod (in a PM to me) falsely accused me of calling Roebuck a paedo, and made the mistake of telling me about the Law. Well, bugger you Mr Perth. This is the last post you get from me here. Roebuck has been outed as a predatory poofter, and you Mr Perth Sir, are trying to suppress that. Well......bye bye. :o |

I'm with you Aussie, for a change. I gather that Roebuck was into S and M or even just the M?
He got some pleasure out of whipping young men's butts. I very much doubt that he was homosexual in the real sense or people would have known. |
