Can anybody explain to me why the United Nations 'peacekeeping forces' in southern Lebanon, refuse to enforce the demilitarised status of southern Lebanon, when it is clear to blind Freddy that Hezbollah is flouting, and dis-honouring the agreement, which Hezbollah actually agreed to, after the last Lebanon / Israel border conflict in 2006 ???

Mostly because the UN peacekeepers aren't actually allowed to fight..
So they can't 'enforce' anything..

As soon as Israel mentions the idea of the UN guaranteeing Israel's security by having troops stationed there, they can't run out the door fast enough.
The Iron Dome is purely Israel's sheild, they still have the IDF to use as the sword if the terrorists get too frisky.
