Akin to people in Queensland stating they thought it'd been a tad windy at the start of the year.
Pretty hard for him to state anything else. Problem is the Greens don't offer much more than a party of protest over the environment. On other areas, they are extremists. They advocate some of us paying over half of our earnings in tax. They'd see corporations paying through the nose in tariffs. They have little economic sense about them. So when the people of NSW wanted to vent their anger over the rising cost of living, they were hardly going to support a party which clearly advocates that they should be paying even more. Hence the huge result in Labor heartlands for Barry and his team. |

No where in the link from the opening post does 'Bob Brown admit Greens did poorly in NSW'
Doesn't the poster usually criticise others for doing what he has done here? |

I accept that green has zero capacity for interpretation and understanding (everything must be spelled out in monosylabic words for him to get even a tenuous grasp) , but I expected you to be able to understand what brown was implying. Yes he did blame the media for reporting less than flattering stories on thier policies, but welcome to the big league. The greens crashed and burned from the boast of brown's that the greens were "extremely popular", just admit they failed and move on. Greens wank is an uneducated idiot, best left ignored, along with bill crany and warfy. |

So the title of the tread is a lie ... thanks for verifying big hole. Now the NSW Greens has increased in vote in this State election. Also in the booth I scrutinised, Greens received 19.5% of the vote and Greens was the most popular 2 choice when a voter preferenced ... of the Independent (20%) and Labor (23%). Greens have the potential of winning this booth next time if this upswing for the Greens across the country and the world continues. |

While you are technically correct Brown did say that the statements on Israel cost them votes. While LW has stretched the point I do not think it is an entirely unreasonable exageration. Though I doubt that this statement has had the impact some may think. In virtually every election I can remember the Greens have been expected to do well but it has only come to fruition on one or two occasions. I think there are two major reasons, One is that people who indicate they may vote green in servays etc chicken out by the time they reach the booth and the second more specific to this election where we have a minority government nationally which always tends to polarise votes to the major party's. In this case with votes also going away from Labor it meant the Libs and Nats did unreasonably well. Anyone expecting a strong Green result in this situation has missed the mark badly, they have done well to stay basically where they were or maybe a slight improvement. |

Title: Re: Bob Brown admits Greens did poorly in NSW Post by ialwayspoor on Apr 2nd, 2011 at 8:02am
So the looney greens are crowing their vote has increased.
Talk about statistics meaning stuff all. Take away the Green vote in Marrickville and Balmain and the greens would be lucky to have 5% of the vote. Some seats it was less than 3%. Australia has FINALLY woken up to the bunch of half wit morons. |

Title: Re: Bob Brown admits Greens did poorly in NSW Post by mavisdavis on Apr 2nd, 2011 at 8:16am
The Greens are now almost beyond the point of no return. They've had their little party at the expense of the environment, now they'll all have to find another scam. The Greens were always destined to failure by their own ostrich like "policies", no political endeavor will ever succeed in an educated country unless real issues are addressed, the Greens have overused their mantra of cheap speak and guilt trip, now even the dullest are beginning to wake up

INDEED ... they are ! Historic win as Greens go down to wire Alicia Wood April 3, 2011 JAMIE PARKER has made history as the first Greens MP in the NSW lower house after winning the inner-west seat of Balmain, in a final insult to the Labor Party. Mr Parker, who had to wait a week to claim victory after a tight contest, said yesterday he expected to win the seat by more than 1000 votes from Liberal candidate James Falk. The contest was initially thought to be between the incumbent, Labor's Verity Firth, and Mr Parker, but Ms Firth slipped to third place after preferences were distributed. http://www.smh.com.au/nsw/state-election-2011/historic-win-as-greens-go-down-to-wire-20110402-1csdj.html?from=smh_sb |

Well it seems to me he pretty well admitted it, but let's not quibble.
In comparison with what they openly said they thought they would get, they did do badly and Brown would be silly to deny it. So here you are defending a result which your leader wouldn't defend himself. (I say your leader because you are another one of buzz's mob aren't you, having two bob each way?) |

These are all case building, monitoring their activities, reporting them and collecting evidence and data. There are also legal challenges to powers the state has given itself to threaten the social security of marginalized people such as cutting them off welfare ect that I am preparing legal challenges for. I am not preparing a legal challenge for the Carbon Tax. I have a county court case in the pipeline against the state and my former employer and I intend to challenge the Governments welfare reform legislation in the High Court should it be passed. So yes I have ongoing legal proceedings that I will pursue on a permanent basis now, they wont ever stop now I know how to work the system. :) 8-) |
