I am wondering if she has been banned... though for the life of me I cant think why she would be.

cods I sent you an email. I was banned and not given a warning and not told the reason by email, it seems the terms of condition are for the admin and mods only. A forum run by  a slack administration has to be a worry security wise. Now I'm thinking mellie was right about the leaking of our private information.

Pansi - you need to send a message to FD and ask why you were banned.

I personally can't see why you were banned - but there's either a glitch in the system or there's someone else here who is trigger happy.

Well I did that when I got unbanned. I know why I was banned, but I wanted to know why protocol was not followed. I found that out too "couldn't be bothered", hence my concern for the security of all members.

I don't know what you mean by protocol.

You aren't abusive and you haven't disclosed personal information and they are the main rules - unless you're talking Proxy IP's, but unless someone is being very disruptive - I can't see why that would be a problem.

Mel's over on FD's other forum - although she hasn't been there for a couple of days. There's very little moderation there, but it's rough and can get quite nasty at times.

She was asking about you and Cods and wanted to invite you over.

I meant the rules, if the users must abide by them, shouldn't the admin and moderators? I did personally abuse an annoying troll so I deserved the ban, but the 'warning' was omitted, as was the email.

I said there was a reason....personal abuse. You don't really have to but sometimes frustration gets the better of you.

That's ok...no harm done, just like equality.

If Pansi gets a temporary ban for one comment - what about those who are continually abusive to anyone who dares cross their path. Do they deserve a permanent ban?

welcome back pansi....I am almost sure it was a mistaken identity thing you are not abusive.. not by my reckoning anyway..lol..and beleive me I think I have been abused by the best on here.

The moderators tend to take sides when they get in on the argument......not good when they can drive certain people off because of an opposing agenda. Free speech should be upheld at all costs, by that I don't mean personal abuse or the leaking of personal information that could be liable, but no one should be banned because of their political stance.

I hope you get plenty of help to pack and move etc and best of luck selling, it's a real headache but seems to come together in the end.....somehow.

I have to take responsibility for complaining about that thread. It was in your face 24/7 and just seemed to be a hate thread - although in retrospect - it wasn't worth worrying about and would have died a natural death eventually.

I understand and appreciate your comment re frustration. It does get the better of you esp when another moron sees fit to take it upon themselves to follow you around whenever you post and to interrupt your conversations with others and to include your family members in their personal attacks AFTER you've repeatedly told them to sod off and lay off your case.

Which is why I believe an ignore button would help. I've seen it work well on a few other forums too.

yes it is addictive I often wonder how many of us live alone.. because to me its like talking to people..... I am busy at the moment as I have an 11 year old grandson living with me...for a few months.. but normally I would go a couple of days and not talk to anyone face to face so this is like conversation to me......maybe thats weird I dont know..and of course it fills in the hours... sometimes to many of course..
