Title: keneally - bad to worse
Post by Sprintcyclist on Mar 7th, 2011 at 12:21am

hahhaha - she is going down badly
even the baby knows a desperate loser

Quote:
KRISTINA Keneally has begun to sound like she is channelling Helen Reddy and her 1970s feminist anthem I Am Woman.

"There might be some blokes in the Labor Party who want to curl up in a corner, but this woman's tougher than that, and I will be fighting every day until the close of polls on the 26th of March," the Premier declared yesterday as she began a four-day Fairness for Families bus tour of Sydney and the Hunter.

Public warnings by her state secretary, Sam Dastyari, that Labor was heading for a drubbing on March 26 seemed to act as a trigger for the embattled Labor leader to fire up.

"I'm undeterred. Whenever, whatever life might throw at me, I get up; I go on and fight for those core Labor values that I believe in."

But if she hopes a traditional stump tour will rekindle the love, it did not begin auspiciously. The bus broke down before the tour could start. Then there was almost a wash-out as council water sprinklers sprung to life midway through Ms Keneally's pitch to the press.

When a replacement bus arrived – minus banners – it was off to join the Police Minister, Michael Daley, in a Clean Up Australia Day session at Maroubra headland.

It got worse when a photo opportunity at Maroubra Nippers proved vexing when a baby thrust into Ms Keneally's arms burst into tears.

So it was on to the news of the day: a planned $100 million boost in police spending, including 10 new police stations, and money for police housing and equipment.

Perhaps today will be smoother when the tour visits Newcastle.

Reddy sang about being strong and invincible. Ms Keneally might not prove to be that, but she seems to understand wisdom born of pain.

"There is no doubt, looking at the state of the polling, that if an election were held today, the result would be an O'Farrell government and the result would potentially be an O'Farrell government handed a blank cheque," Ms Keneally said of the likely poll outcome.

While I, along with just about every other NSW voter, will be immeasurably relieved to see the demise of NSW Labor, I would wish for some intelligent and strong independents to keep a check on the Liberals, as I do not trust them either and do not want them having a free run with the NSW economy and infrastructure.

Fatty O barrell will be the worst Premier this state has ever had, it is so sad that a man with so little talent is being handed the Premiers job on a platter. It would not surprise me to see him rolled in his first term, there are some talented people on the Liberal side of state politics, O barrell is not one of them.

Say goodbye to Hollywood - power is not an entitlement, it is entrusted. 8-)

Just so long as the Greens don't get to pull a "Fed." and get their snouts anywhere near the levers.......

Sadly, NSW is destined to tread that same dastardly track recently chosen by Victoria

Remove an EXPERIENCED, albeit tired, government - and replace it with a pack of blithering novices and ninkampoops

Look what WE got on our first benchmark ...

So what do we have to show for "100 days of Ted" ?

1. Some clearway signs removed

2. Information on speed cameras is now published weekly - instead of monthly

3. Private schools have been given a gift of $240 MILLION - while being handed back the power to refuse enrolement to - and expel gay kids

4. Withholding funding to Melbourne University if it refuses to fudge the findings of its national parks cattle "trial"

5. Suggesting scrappimg a cancer treatment centre as part of heath punding "re-scoping"

6. Over 100 inquiries - over ONE A DAY

(Go to http://www.ozpolitic.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1291167686 for documentation on ALL of the above)

DESPITE the occasional financial blunder, the New South Wales Government has STILL managed to bring home a AAA credit rating, economic growth and falling unemployment rates

Quote:
The Galaxy Poll of 800 voters suggests Labor could win just 16 of the state's 93 Lower House seats.

The poll has the government trailing the Coalition by 64 per cent to 36 on a two party preferred basis.

It has also found 70 per cent of respondents think Opposition Leader Barry O'Farrell will win because Labor doesn't deserve to.

Be VERY careful what you wish for

Really Buzz, I cannot believe you are making excuses for the current government of NSW, In sixteen years we have seen our state go down the tubes in every way, schools, hospitals, transport. You name it, Labor have stuffed it up.  If this is EXPERIENCE, give me an inexperienced amateur every time. Whatever the politcal make up of the next parliament, it can hardly do worse.

Buzz, AAA credit ratings mean jack.

They put those damned ratings above common sense and above the taxpayer - anything to have a gold stamp from someone.

KRISTINA Keneally illegally privatized/stole NSW Public electricity and gave it to the corporate world so that the people of NSW would not be denied an extortionist Carbon (Air Tax) and massive energy charges.  Gillard and Keneally have this in common - neither have any roots in Australia - how is it these two corporate hirelings get into the highest office to vandalize the nation?  There is a Prima Facie case against this woman for conspiracy to defraud the people of NSW.

I reckon the American chick is one of the better looking politicians I have seen in a while.

I quite like the mid-west girls.
