Title: What Are Your Party's Assets?
Post by Greens_Win on Feb 17th, 2011 at 7:12pm
New Millennium, New Approach.

Sustainable Politics will be based on different thinking. Perhaps less confrontational interaction.

Hypothetical

You are talking with someone that will vote yet doesn't understand politics. How would you sell your political views to this person?

_/_/_/ _/_/_/ _/_/_/

The Australian Greens

Four Pillars of the Green Party are a foundational statement of Green politics and form the basis of many worldwide Green parties. The Four Pillars are:

   * Ecological wisdom
   * Social justice
   * Grassroots democracy
   * Nonviolence

All Green thinking is within these four pillars.

It is my belief, this path will lead to a sustainable oneness.

_/_/_/ _/_/_/ _/_/_/

Now over to you. Sell your political view.

You're asking too much of her Greens.  Just keep it simple.  Cods is not up to the mark. She probably saw that slogan somewhere and thought it sounded good, so she posted it.

The title cod ... What are your Party's Assets. You can go into any thread and criticizes. How about trying something different here, sell your own political beliefs. Up to the challenge?

As for ecological wisdom : without it we as a species are doomed. No environment, no humans.

Social Justice :  equal rights for all. Treating others as if they were yourself.

Grassroots democracy : getting people connected with the party from the ground up, rather than be a machine who steamrolls.

Non Violence. Speaks for itself, rather than perpetuate violence, take another path.

From these four pillars, Greens and their supporters are anchored and this centers. From where Greens are politically at any time, we can see how far the other parties have moved from their support base.

Former Prime Minister Malcolm Fraser said that ‘too much secrecy inhibits people's capacity to judge the government's performance”,...so I propose ....

-Transparency Accountability and attainabilities Minister (TAA)

-Australian Transparency Accountability Act

Sometimes Alevine, I don't like to over share, this and like to keep some of my ideas to myself, if you don't mind.

Want ideas? Then invest in stem cell research and grow yourself a brain.

Cods, who will keep the TAA accountable?  And you want to extend on what these acts will implement? Nice titles.

I wont be answering anymore of your questions, until you can at least refer to me by name, not someone else's, thanks.

And even then, it's unlikely I would respond to someone like yourself (a forum troll) on the subject of policy.

So...don't hold your breath.

I have plenty of ideas, but I'm not about to share them with someone like you, sorry, nothing personal.

Didn't they go bust in the 70's?
Was Andrei's dad one of their pilots?

I am referring to you by your name, cods.

As for your ideas, it's not really an idea rather just a few titles, isn't it?

I am not Cods, and am quite sure you already know this yourself.
Furthermore, when it comes to my more 'serious' policies, (the above being a hint towards what i'm getting to)  it's just I'm not inclined to over-share these days...given I have been 'Jack Londoned'  once or twice before.

The term 'Jack Londoned' has become somewhat of a satirical euphemism for something else in my neck of the woods, so don't take it too 'literary', OK. 8-)

How about you Alevine, got any policy related ideas , thought bubbles happening there in that cavernous skull of yours?

....

No, didn't think so....

For starters, you're missing the vital ingredient, this being...

'Thought'

lol, cods, the fact you can't even spell out your Policy ideas other than some titles you took a day to think up shows the only person in this forum who comes up with thought bubbles that quickly disappear is you.

I'm not here for your entertainment Alevine, this and find it interesting how you 'snidely' prompt others to deliver, though yourself, for some reason or another... cant?

You champion.  8-)

Ps- You might get a bite out of Cods for referring to her as myself, though I couldn't care less what you call me ... this and understand that all too often, people like yourself have little things called 'black-outs'... so, apology accepted.

Oh? And what are you here for? To improve your writing skills? I could only hope, cods!

You are the one, cods, who brought up that you have this great idea. I'm asking you to extend on it and actually explain it.  I really can't understand why you can't?  Cods, are you afraid someone might actually take you seriously and use your idea? It's ok, I highly doubt it.

Honestly, I have one handle, one only, and this is it.

Why the hell would I need any more?

When I'm quite capable of getting my point across with just the one.

Tools indeed,  ... time to move right along....

This thread went from bad to worse with the typical guess who games you play here.

Grow up!

All you do is disrupt conversation. Take a hint, I'm not fussed on you and would prefer you didn't respond to my posts.

L/W - I've seen you write some sensible posts (aside from politics) on the odd occasion, yet the insults you dish out to those you believe are your inferiors is offensive. You profess to be a Christian, but you are making a mockery of Christianity.

This is extremely irritating, but we put up with pseudo Christians here not practising what they preach because it's just another typical RW disability.

Of course every opposing poster isn't Mel - but it makes no difference because you all post in exactly the same way, say the same things and generally come up with the same unsubstantiated rubbish.

My Party's assets are usually as follows:

2 case of full strength beer
2 case of light beer
2 casks of white wine
several bottles of assorted spirits
several bottle of mixers (soft drinks, tonic water etc)
2 kg of cheese cubes
2 kg of chopped cabonossi
5 packets of crisps (assorted flavours)
2 dozen stuffed eggs
2 dozen party pies
2 dozen party sausage rolls
1 cob loaf containing a spinach and sour cream dip
Various music CD's (no house or (c)rap music, but....Just good rock n roll from the 70's 80's and 90's)

a few close friends
and a large supply of Berocca and asprin for the morning after...
