Well .. what do you think and why?

Ok .. I'll go first.

1) Was Jesus Christ gay? No

2) Why? Because there is nothing in the Bible to support the view/opinion that Jesus was gay.

OK, I'll play for a little while...


1) Maybe.

2) Because:

a) To the best of my knowledge, he never sired any children - and he died an unmarried man.

b) If he faithfully followed in his almighty father's footsteps and teachings, then why did he not go forth and procreate!?

LOL...I do not claim to be an authority on any religion - but I would suggest that you lay off your own foolish assumptions...

You are the one asserting somemthing, citing access to evidence, yet unable to provide any.

Full of sh!te is the colloquial adjectival phrase for you, spinning dizzily yes/no person.

It's important that people be given the opportunity to answer openly and honestly .. irrespective of whether or not we agree with their posts.

These sorts of discussions ought to be brought out into the open .. however uncomfortable or controversial they may appear.

LOL...Soren, the only 'evidence' that either of us could seek to rely upon, is one of several re-re-revised (and conflicting) pseudo-ancient texts that each claim to be the definitive word of a mythical and almighty doG...despite apparently being authored by dozens of other mere mortal human beings over a few generations in an era of low literacy - and since re-revised and translated by countless others over several centuries...

I accept that a much-revered man, by the name of Jesus (or similar) may have existed a couple of thousand years ago - and I have no reason to believe that such a person ever married or sired any children...

That said, there is not much point in trying to prove a negative proposition and I'm not particularly-interested in the thread topic - but please do feel free to bring forth your own argument/s and/or evidence...

LOL...I do claim to be an authority on any religion.

Therefore, He was not GAY. He was GUY. haHA. gaGA.

He was much more enrapt in the religion (which means aspiration) of life, therefore not the sexual undertones. Amen and Awomen.

However, his countenence should mean he was the happiest, or gayest, most laughing, person in all of life.
 Strangely, something you never find written in the solemn Bible. :(

He could have been, but what does it matter? although he was a great teacher and role model, he was a man like any other.

I can only surmise, my not having met him myself...

But I believe he was a normal mortal like the rest of us, a bit of a heretic, alternative religious guru, a cult leader even, who went against the grain, had bastard children out of wedlock much like the rest of us, and due to the oppressiveness of the day, hung/nailed (whatever)  for his crimes, ... being a dissident.

I bet he was very political, made posters and protested on Mt Zion.

He was probably quite bright, anti-conformist, I imagine him being a bit of a revolutionist, John Lennon type of character, only without the glasses obviously.

As for miracles?


No, being agnostic, I cant fathom this concept myself.



Truth be known, he may have had a touch of mental illness, as do most religious zealots who believe they have 'special' powers.

It depends which version you read. What about Mary Magdalene and Sarah?
