Title: Australia defeating climate challenge Post by salad in on Jan 13th, 2011 at 7:51am Quote:
We’ve done it. Through good management and gentle prodding from Bishop Brown of the Green Church we have managed to turn the most pernicious threat to Australia and humanity on its ear. We have met and defeated GLOBAL WARMING/AGW/CLIMATE CHANGE/CLIMATE CHALLENGE. A reduction of an estimated .85 of a metre; that’s a healthy reduction over 36 years. Does the above sound stupid? It is just as stupid as saying the east coast of Australia would be a dust bowl by 2012 or the iconoclasm of environmental priests who predict that Gaia will be transubstantiated into some beast, perhaps resembling one of the creatures in a Japanese B grade horror flick. |

Well, in the speil of the Greens, global flooding is still global dustbowling, it`s still "climate change" and we have to bankrupt all our industries, and starve all our people, except the Greens.
SO THERE! |

WOO HOO
The Far Right Has Dispelled Science by ignoring it. Welcome To Tony Abbott's Thinking "CLIMATE CHANGE IS CRAP" No wonder Greens support is growing while Liberal support is collapsing. 7ec2000b-8c8d-41d9-ba75-62644ec2db8b.jpg (15 KB | 44

You mean the agenda of science. Climate Change May Be Making Australia's Floods Worse "The waters off Australia are the warmest ever measured and those waters provide moisture to the atmosphere for the Queensland and northern Australia monsoon," Matthew England of the Climate Change Research Center at the University of New South Wales, Sydney, told "The first thing we can say with La Nina and El Nino is it is now happening in a hotter world," said David Jones of the Australia Bureau of Meteorology in Melbourne in the Reuters report. http://www.fastcompany.com/1716496/australia-floods-possible-climate-change-link |

Did you negotiate a ETS tax on the economy without believing the science? |

Torrential unrelenting rain? How is it that the flood level of 1974 was higher than the present flood level if AGW is at play? Shouldn't and wouldn't the 36 years of burning more coal etc lead to a higher downfall based on a hotter earth and atmosphere causing more water vapor to enter the atmosphere? How is it that based on the environment heating up we haven't seen the current event repeated every year for the last 36 years? |

The silver spooners can laugh and smoke crack and pretend but the scientist has to wait and collect his govenment paycheck and conditions and be happy over time collecting the boring data set needed to come to proper conclusions if any! Warnings are great, but they don't understand how the clouds work etc.....! |

Some people just think they are so hard core perpetuating the lies of the old school but they don't realise that the world has become so advanced! They don't realise that the world is no longer into pretend machoism! People know stuff now! They can't work it out but their silver spooner sons still try to push the cotton wool and can't figure out why the get so dissed, so they smoke meth to cope with the pain of it all! Our changing climate has brought flood
• Matthew Wright • From: The Daily Telegraph • January 17, 2011 12:00AM 'Eventually tobacco companies were compelled to pay damages to the victims of their harmful product. So too should the coal industry. They have contributed massively to the cumulative carbon emissions and must finance rebuilding Queensland. Queensland is the world's largest exporter of seaborne coal. As the floods shut down the state's supply chain, global coal prices shot up by 20 per cent. This rise clearly demonstrates the scale of Australia's contribution to the coal market and to climate changes.' http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/our-changing-climate-has-brought-flood/story-fn6bmfwf-1225989006754 * dedicated to longweekend- note this it is NOT from a blog site. |
