Title: Centrelink. Post by djrbfm on Sep 21st, 2010 at 11:00am
"Two brothers have been charged over a violent rampage at a government office in western Sydney, allegedly stabbing one man in the arm with an umbrella.
The pair are also accused of punching two other staff in the head before overturning furniture at the the Merrylands Centrelink office on Monday afternoon, police say. The men fled the scene and the injured employees were taken to Westmead Hospital for treatment. It's alleged two officers were punched in the head while arresting two siblings, aged 22 and 24, a short time after the incident and had to use capsicum spray and call for backup. The duo were charged with malicious wounding with intent, affray, three counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and three counts of assault on police officers. Bail was refused and they are due to appear in Fairfield Local Court on Tuesday." off Yahoo today. #1. violence won't solve anything. #2. police have more paper work. #3 these two, obviously arabs or asians are the real victims. a warning: cenrelink is not a nice organization. they purport to be but, they are about as close to Nazi's as one gets in Australia. i have no time for violence, but, i truly believe Centrelink staff are permanently and habitually out of line with customers. and with our gov't's blessing. j. |

Two morons broke the law, and were charged accordingly.
And your problem is? I don't understand what you are saying, are you suggesting these two thugs should have been let off for having assaulted no less than 2 people? |

Ungrateful scumbags expoiting the taxpayer's money!
The Lucky Country - where the poor are given a job and the unemployment benefit. In Australia, if you fall - there is a 'safety net' to help you bounce back up. In USA (and a hell of a lot of other nations) if you fall, you hit cement and it is soooo hard to get back up, let alone back to the Middle-Class. In Australia - you shouldn't have to steal a 'loaf of bread' anymore. But a lot of people forget this. Rosemeadow: The Housing Commission Units (known as RoseGhetto) have been demolished - now the 'scumbags' that ruined them into dereliction are getting brand new ones constructed for them while other decent people have to pay the norm for accommodation. There are so many ungrateful scumbags that bite the hand that feeds them. Nobody wants to work Centrelink these days because of abusive, lazy bludgers who just can't take it in the cue-line. I had to attend Centrelink every now and then and even though it was riddled with mistakes and flaws, I thought "better that than nothing at all." >:( |

two ppl were abused by Centrelink and because of their youth and upbringing acted unwisely. and yes, police were needed. still, it says a lot for a govt agency that's supposed to help ppl. j. |

whilst what you are saying is prolly true, i'll give you the skinny........ if we stop immigration totally, this will not happen. if we deport all ppl that are not legally aussies, it will help. these are generally arabs, lebs or easterns. all of which do not share our sentiments here. this country was once great - about a generation ago. before the lebs, arabs and asians got in here. THIS WHOLE MULTI CULTURAL BS isn't working. AND i do not want it F^CKED UP anymore than it is already because of 'em. j. |

Centrelink is only the hatchet man and executioner of bad government legislation and can be very ignorant by not even replying to registered mail, but then the politicians do not answer any difficult questions. As far as the Arabs and Asians are concerned, they are probably economically more successful than the the Aussies and 50 and 60sties European migrants; just look at the Mercedes drivers on the road.

yes, and more cars = more pollution and strain on the system. my main beef this that these ppl do not integrate well with whites. and lets face it, anglos built this place, i'd hate to see it, if built by Easterners of any type. i'm really sick of being politically correct all the time, just so these types won't get there noses out of joint. j. |

centrelink is not a nice organisation? dont actually understand why?
isnt the issue the abusive nature of the brothers!? i, and clearly the majority of posters dont actually understand your point. Are you disheartened by the organisation yourself and feel the need to rant? |

We probably need Lebs, Asians and Easterners because Australia can't produced its own self-sufficient population growth.
Like Homer Simpson said: "You are Gay" when pointing to Australia on the World Map. |

While NOT condoning what these blokes did, I can certainly
understand people becoming frustrated with the inflexible, uncaring, under-staffed megalith that is Satanlink. But really, Satanlink is not to blame, it is the broken, discriminatory system, and the parasites who make the rules who need to be dealt with. The entire social security system needs an overhaul, to take wealthfare away from those not in need, and give more to those who are. The emphasis should be on helping those most in need, not those who can provide for themselves. But hang on, we HAD that in the DSS/CES system that Howard couldn't wait to scrap. |

Yes well, we all know that every system is 'imperfect', take a look at Telstra.
But maybe they should scrap Centrelink entirely ...I wonder what the scumbags would complain about then? Very few countries in the world have a 'welfare' system and Australia has one of the best ...in fact it was the best during the 70's - where you even had free public transport. I've had to wait in line for hours, ironically because some dude in Liverpool was causing a ruckus at the desk "How am I gonna buy me fags with that much!?" he said at one time. I guess they lowered his rate? Its like when I worked in the Psyche in Hospitals ...a good 50% of them just needed a good kick in the arse more than anything. ::) |
