Title: NZ Earthquake Post by Amadd on Sep 4th, 2010 at 9:25am
The earthquake which rocked New Zealand on Saturday morning was felt across the South Island and caused widespread damage, journalists say.
Whole parts of Christchurch were reduced to rubble and one man was seriously injured when a chimney fell on him, following the 7.0 magnitude quake. .. http://news.ninemsn.com.au/article.aspx?id=7956091 All the best to our resident Kiwis. I hope that all is well with friends and family back home. |

Good to read that so few have been harmed.

Yeah, I don't want to be pessimistic about it, but usually the toll takes a bit of time to become known.
There seems to be quite a lot of damage. |

There seems to be a lot of Quake, Tsunami, Volcano, etc, etc action of late.
Coincidence with the Solar System moving back down across the Galaxy Plane? ...the planet stretching and vibrating a bit. ...the planet suddenly changing its rotation (again). Throw in the fact that the atmosphere is thinning out, producing more Carbon Dioxide - is so polluted that if the Planet was a person, they would be coughing like someone with Emphasema. The Waterways and Oceans are so polluted, that if the Planet were a person, they would be vomiting and hung-over from Alcohol poisening. Throw in Nuclear Testing underground and seismic blast Tests from Military around the world. Satellites and Radio waves pounding and buzzing around the planet willy-nilly that our Magnetic Sphere is starting to look fuzzy and erratic. I've heard talk that New Zealand is growing in size - ie: rising up from the ocean. But I've yet to find info on this. Has anyone else heard of this before? |

There could be people trapped or dead that we don't know about yet. It only happened this morning. |

Whole areas reduced to rubble? Any casualties?

None so far. Two seriously injured last time I heard. One had a chimney fall on him and I can't remember what happened to the other.

Maybe those 'whole parts of christchurch' were piles of rubble before the quake hit. Or was everyone outside?

I think everyone was sleeping when it happened. When I looked at pictures, it didn't really look like rubble. Structural damage? Yes. Rubble? Not really.

I should point out that there hasn't been any 'Nuclear Testing underground' since 1996, you know?? The atmosphere isn't 'thinning out' carbon dioxide is denser than air, and the Earth has ALWAYS been bombarded by radio waves..... Whateve it is you're on....I'd suggest cutting back a bit.... |

there are theories that the earth's crust has been damaged and is actually cracking. One example is the Indonesian earthquake tsunami. I understand the British did a geological survey of the ocean floor there after that very big earthquake and I understand they found that the crust has been damaged there and is continuing to rupture. Maybe that is happening elsewhere on the planet, because the instances of these seem to be rapidly increasing.

not that you hear anything about that in Australia. It takes the British apparently to have a look, even though the site is off the coast of Western Australia which could be extremely vulnerable to a big earthquake in the Indian Ocean.
Any investigations done? Nah, not in Australia. |

The earth is always cracking. The earth is volcanically active. |
