Title: So what's on TV worth watching. Post by locutius on May 17th, 2010 at 10:01am
So we all have busy lives. Mine involves 1.5 jobs and two boys under 2 y.o. Playing the odd hour or two on a PC game and trying to find time for my archery. Oh and reading about 3 pages a night before I fall asleep.
So I am pretty selective with the TV. (some would say the best selection is to turn it off....and I agree) there are always a gem or two. My favourites at the moment are "The IT Crowd" and "River Cottege". Have considered giving "Woke Up Dead" a look see. |

If you have foxtel the History and NG channels have a lot of interesting shows.

Problem is Annie if I ever see another doco on Pyamids, Sharks or Nazis it will be 30 billion years too soon.
Yes we have foxtel but will be cancelling when contract is up. We just have the doco channels pretty much anyway. The only other show I have really enjoyed on Fox has been pretty much anything by Ray Mears... recently did a series on North American explorers....facinating. Now doing one on survivors of the wilderness. There are actually many shows I could find myself getting into..but resist as time is in short supply. Sprint friends of mine are into Underbelly but just can't see the attraction. Even worse is the celebritisation of grubs and crims. |

Totally agree. I knew John and Sam Ibrahim when I was in my late teens. I watched one episode of Underbelly and gave it up because I found the glamourisation of drug dealers and murderers beyond disturbing. |

Definitions of ultimate on the Web:
* furthest or highest in degree or order; utmost or extreme; "the ultimate achievement"; "the ultimate question"; "man's ultimate destiny"; "the ... * the finest or most superior quality of its kind; "the ultimate in luxury" * being the last or concluding element of a series; "the ultimate sonata of that opus"; I'll go with the last. The last thing you want to watch. |
