I suggest, again, that I be appointed Admin for 8 weeks to revive the board and hold fair and aboveboard elections when I will leave the board. That way you retrieve something from the mess you have made, FD.

Well, as you know, I have never seen the board you are talking about, but I have seen the posts here by some of it's members, and the childishly petulant outbursts are a disgrace.

I will give you all a little tip, if you wish to have somebody grant you a request, then threatening, abusive vitriol would probably be the least likely way to achieve that.
If you have real concerns then you should have tried to politely put your case, and waited for a response.

The issue concerning some seems to be that they may have had private, personal information in PMs and are afraid that others than those to whom the PMs were sent, may get the opportunity to access that information, which is a valid concern.

This raise the whole protocol that we should use with PM's, now I would suggest that you have at least 2 email accounts, with one for junk, and one that is pretty secure, and used more judiciously.
If you wished to share private information, then use the junk email to make an initial contact, and then pass on and use your more secure email only when you are totally comfortable doing so.

I really am staggered at the degree of vitriol directed at FD, sure I have been frustrated and infuriated in debates with him, but have never, ever had any reason to abuse him, or question his integrity, and I really wish people would try and behave rationally, and politely, because this sort of rubbish crosses the line, and I will be reviewing it, and deleting what I consider too offensive.
