What do we all like/dislike about flying ?

In a wee while i will be tying to book/organise a flight for my Mum, the usual problems have already arisen .

overall I dislike flying.


first problem
1/ lack of legroom. I'ld happily pay more to get more legroom.
It's a health hazard. less room on a plane than on a bus !!!!!!

2/ the screen RIGHT in my face for a day really peeves me off.
I am NOT a cretin and DON'T HAVE to be "entertained" 24/7.

I actually don't mind flying. The only problems I have are with being able to sleep as I find it too difficult if I'm sitting upright. I actually think there's enough legroom and I'd rather not pay more money for a little bit of extra space. Also, there's no way air travel can be compared to my morning bus. They try to fit as many people as possible with at least 6 people standing in each red zone - that is a health hazard.

true, sleeping while sitting is unnatural.
I find just sitting for extended periods to be bad.
