I honestly doubt the veracity of the story. Sounds like a concoction to me. The simple fact is that conversion is almost 99% from Christianity to Islam, not the other way round. So some desperado Christians often invent stories like this, to convince their flock there's nothing to worry about, we're winning converts too!!

Well this is all in the system and will shortly be in the Courts, so we'll see how 'untrue' it all is.

But what is the surprise? This is what Muslims do - they kill people who violate the laws of their religious dictatorship, and thinking for yourself and choosing your own religion equals death.

Abu's point about 'drugs' is ridiculous, as usual. Interestingly in Sydney and Melbourne, most of the meth supply is controlled by muslims. And we all know where the majority of the heroin comes from.

With very rare exception, western parents would let their children convert, at the very most even if they were part of a fundamentalist religion, they'd just be 'shunned', not killed. For muslims, the appropriate penalty it seems is death. How many people want to become christians but are too scared? Its a big price to pay, lose your family, all your contacts, and maybe your life because you wish to convert.

What is the point?

We all know abu is a devout moslem.

We all know that devout moslems justify their lying to non-moslems.
.....being as, lying and deceiving non-moslems is 'sanctified' [made holy] by ISLAM.

From the experience of abu's past responses on this forum, we all know that abu treats TRUTH with contempt.

This is the way Christian parents deal with their children, for probably doing nothing other than being alive... well he was at one stage anyway, before they killed him. Then again... as we've seen in the Islam forum, most here are completely untouched by hearing the news of 2 yo. kids being murdered in cold blood...

Those convicted are likely to be given new identities upon release

The couple responsible for the death of 17-month-old Baby Peter have been named after a court anonymity order expired.

He died in Haringey, north London, in the care of his mother Tracey Connelly, 28, and her partner Steven Barker, 33.

A third defendant in the case named as Jason Owen, 37, is now identified as Barker's brother. Baby Peter's surname, Connelly, has also been released.

In May, Connelly and Barker were given minimum terms of five and 12 years for causing or allowing the death of Peter.

In a separate court case, Barker was also given a life sentence for raping a two-year-old girl.

Peter had more than 50 injuries, including fractured ribs and a broken back, when he was found dead in a property in Penshurst Road, Tottenham, in August 2007....

What makes you think these people are Christians, practising or otherwise?

Islam is the only religion I know that has a law about apostasy and the penalty is death.

One would think that FREE-WILL and changing one's religion would be a less egregious crime than murder.

yet again abu, this event is not encouraged by the christian faith.
neither is it accepted by our society.
we will jail those people.

At times I feel capital punushment is warranted.
But always feel it is not our right to take to take anothers life.
