Tallow - Can you please be less vague for a change? Don't tell me that you're an ozone depletion skeptic  ;) - or are you talking about green tea ? LOL

Do you mean that when anybody mention  correlation .and causation they are being vague or do you mean that talking about green house effect is all about brewing green tea? Please be more specific.  :)

OK. I won't ask you to clarify your point again. I didn't understand what you were talking about, and there is a very good chance that nobody else did either, probably including yourself. I'll let it rest. You obviously meant it to be vague and post modern.

IMHO, green tea is better hot but some people do drink iced tea.
One thing is clear and certain - "Tests are different".

Now that I know you're talking about Green Tea, I split it into a new topic.

I actually enjoy green tea. I usually have a pot most nights (unsweetened). My favourite is Uji Tezumi Gyokuro, but I like a wide variety of other teas.

Oolong (烏龍) tea is also very nice, especially the ones from from Central Taiwan, but the Fujian Wu Long is easier to get. You might know it as Dragon Tea because of the leaf shape.

Does it have any medicinal benefit? I don't know other than hearsay. I just know that it helps me to relax. I don't drink alcohol, but I enjoy a pot of tea. I drink it hot, but it cools down through the evening.

Iced tea is nice in summer.

Cannot get used to taste of green tea, but is claimed to be healthy version of tea, has antioxidants, gives similar boost to coffee but in civilised manner - lower hit over longer period surprisingly not affecting sleep which is pretty opposite to coffee.

Luckily recently it was mentioned that coffee (500 mg of caffeine a day) could stop and even reverse the Alzheimers disease ravages.

So far it was detected in mice and might not translate to humans. But mice being so closely related to humans regarding diseases and cures I doubt it will not be the case.
