Yes, technically speaking talibans are foreigners in Afghanistan. Kick them out for good and finish them off in their hell hole across the border where they came from.

Yes, the look very good after Mumbai massacre. Still technically speaking they are foreigners in Afghanistan and as abu pointed out Afghanis don't like forein fighters.

If the Muslims go for democracy, that would be a bonus. A miracle, but still a bonus.

But we are not in Afghanistan give them democracy. We are there to prevent them from becoming, yet again, a festering failed state from which attacks can be coordinated against us.  We are killing them there so we don't have to kill 'em here.

Also Australians are there to help Afghanis to kick taliban foreigners out.
