Very true grendel, in fact I have no idea what that clip has to do with multiculturalism, but it still brings a smile to your face.

Obviously it’s better to be multicultural then uncultured like some racist morons on this forum.

Nothing like a bit of humanist propaganda to remind us of our shared humanity.

Multiculturalism has nothing to do with a person being "cultured" or race.  Nor is it a necessary belief to behave properly.

It is a flawed settlement policy which divides a society and causes social disharmony as proven in studies.

Hard to moderate properly when posts come up in real time and one cannot be awake 24x7.

Plus if you mod you shouldn't post.

I haven't posted here for a while, lost interest a bit, nothing really interesting to contribute to so i suppose I could have done it if someone asked.

I do think though you need more mods per forum.  To cover the time and posts.

Some people need to get thicker hides and others who know what the limits are should pull their heads in and not go overboard.

Oh and Mods should never get involved in flaming!!!!!!!!!!

There you go Grendel - there's an opening here as it appears DT has left for the time being.  You don't have to be here often.

Mods should be able to post though.

You can't be part of the argument ie take a side mantra and remain unbiased.

Why dont you mod here boof? nobody is modding the enviroment thread either, the're both your pet subjects, as long as you can be unbiased I cant see why you couldn't post as well.

Not hard to imagine a non-posting moderator being either too slack or over-zealous - deleting and banning on a whim (or not at all) - because he/she's indifferent to the health of the forum.

Yep, I think mods can and should post. Good point Helian. Of course their arguments should be biased, that's a given when arguing your point of view. It's when their modding becomes biased that it becomes a problem, Then it is up to the members to call them out on it.

Delete tit for tat BS that has nothing to do with the topic and is just a waste of space and time. Do however leave offensive posts because that provides a background to that poster and should be visible to other members.

Well people are free to indulge paranoid delusions of persecution if they wish to, but I will not indulge them.

Life will go on, some fruitcakes will keep posting their strange ideas, the rational ones will get a laugh from them, and probably offer a countering opinion, and anything overly offensive, from either side, will be removed, it hardly sounds like the end of the world.

Mozzaok - there are no fruitcakes on this forum.  Everyone is just individualistic and opinionated.

Lately I have read a bit about the origins of multiculturalism and I think Grendel and DT were onto something - seriously.  I should have taken more notice of their repetitious posts, but there was a grand plan put into action by a couple of breathtakingly wealthy people in the mid to late 60's etc. etc. and the reasons behind this are worth exploring.

As far as being a moderator of a forum - if he/she enjoys posting their "strange ideas" - good.  It just makes it all the more interesting.

Be careful what you wish for, Mantra... Didn't one fruitcake want to make a Picasso out of you recently?

;D ;D ;D

Yes - that is true Helian. I momentarily forgot, but I went out the other day and bought another pitbull - that makes 4 that I have guarding my house now.

I should have said - none of the current members posting here are fruitcakes.
