I found this stuff in google and elsewhere.
Quote:
Firstly, does that mean the bible is open to reinterpretation/change? I don't understand that. You can't alter the divine work of God can you? Quote:
Is this saying you won't get in to heaven if you do any of these things, and girly men can't either? Quote:
Does this mean even lesbians aren't cool? Did Jesus himself ever say anything about any of this? |

Didn't God made humans in his own image? And as far as know originally they were not covered with hijabs or fig leafs.

I could never figure out why in the homosexuality thread Abu (or was it Malik?) made a point of explaining how Islam allowed effiminate men to have a wife. Maybe he was just playing the old 'Islam is more progressive than frothing-at-the-mouth, fundamentalist Christianity' card. |

History has shown us that everyone hates pretty boys because the girls love them.
Science has now shown this too, with women preferring a gentler look to settle down with. |

And what is the corollary of that? |

I don't know what that word means, but the other side of the coin, which is what I am assuming you are asking about, is that they wanna root the mean looking ones and cuddle up with the pretty ones, by science.

Very true Easel. Pretty boys give you pretty girl babies. |

That makes no sense from a rational perspective. Why would girls desire a guy that looks like a girl? Doesn't that go against our evolutionary principles?
Unless we're thinking in different terms for "pretty boy". Because I'm immagining basically "a convincing transvestite". Unless you mean a clean shaven, Charles Atlas, pretty boy like in older movies. |

Men are attracted to physicality such as body structure, tits, hips, flexibility, athleticism etc. Ever notice the sayings such as "She's a prawn, better without the head" "Bag the face pump the base" and others?
Women are slightly different and are attracted to facial symmetry and facial attraction to a much higher degree than what men are, with a strong jaw line (testosterone indicator) being attractive and a sign of perhaps dominance and protection for a woman, but not nurturing. A more feminine face is allegedly desirable to women as it subconsciously gives off indicators of a nurturer for the kids. So pretty boy for raising the kids and having chats and cuddles with, tough guy for rooting and making babies. At least that's what the studies say. But guys will more often than not check out the body, face is secondary, women will look at the face. Perhaps women are looking more for psychological cues to the personality to help with the baby raising whereas men are looking for physiological cues to help with the baby raising, ie healthier offspring, greater chance of survival, where the women want a helper to help them 'in the kitchen'. |

I don't even look at people.
I mean, I do, I see them. But I'm not looking for face value beauty. I try to discern from their expressions, their clothes, their features whether or not they're prolife or prochoice. And yes, I can kind of tell by the way you look. I've done it many times and have been right. Forcing myself to try and be friendly to the baby slaughterers just to prove my hypothesis correct. People are pretty damn predictible. And they all look basically the same. The girl I want Has to be able to lie for me.... yes, even in court... Has to be willing to trust me and do as I say, I don't mean "clean this house bitch", I mean "use this credit card I found then discard it" Has to be relatively violent, I can't be having some hippy who will slow me down Has to be more morally outraged then me. Unless it involves abortions, I'm a total tramp. Someone's gotta keep me from being a complete waste of space. |
