Title: In 2007 have we yet reached equality....
Post by oceansblue on Nov 28th, 2007 at 2:26pm
between the sexes?

Thoughts anyone?

I still think, especially when its hot like it is today, that its wrong that the law says its ok for a man to go shirtless but not a woman-not that I want to but if I did I would be arrested.

Why does this draconian law still exist and any other examples of equlity /inequality for either side.?

equality between the sexes is an oxymoron.
Things that are different cannot be equal.

women have far more unjust advantages over us men.
Whenever they say "equality", they want to be given more at the expense of us men.

I think you take meaning far too literal- not everything has to be about   push /pull S.

I think its enough to keep it a bit lighthearted . Would you be against a law that said females could go shirtless on a hot day for instance?

btw gravy?

I see it as a freedom of expression .  :-)

Prefer the tight t-shirt or shirt with no bra look.

I think that would be OK given a couple of conditions.  One must not have been affected so much by gravity that abrasions may occur.  And one must not have mammaries which could cause injury to one's fellows should one need to turn swiftly for any reason.

The only other that I can think of off the top of my head is that one can not take offence if any person should stare.

Whether bare breasts are acceptable is largely a cultural thing.

Topless swedish chicks

fd - unless you are a muslim. In which case gang rape victims can get sentences to 200 lashes.

Sort of does away with any idea/discussion of how nice it is to have woman topless on beaches,
doesn't it ?

deepy - good challenge  !!!!  mmmm

Typical, how an invention by the free world (windows XP) is perverted and used by the repressive people who invent nothing (islam) in order to bring about their ends.
As is direcred in the koran.

How was that ? marks out of 5 ???

Only 1 out of 5 I'm afraid - you didn't mention which sura discusses the blasphemy of Bill Gates.  In the Koran he is referred to though by his Arabic name Hu Fah Tid
