Is veiwing porn considred to be cheating on your partner?


Would we consider that to be cheating as men or is just a right of passage as a man in our world.

There is plenty of opportunity to access it on the net etc..so technology has modernised a very old phenomena.

it was a rhetorical question DT and from what I know a lot of men and indeed women use porn.


I dont have an opinion as to wether its right or wrong just wondering what pple think.

If pple use it, its natural..goes back to a very early time in the human lifespan...centuries.

Porn is normal..I would imagine.

I dont consider porn to be cheating in the literal sense..addiction is something else of course.

I'd feel upset about it. I have asked to be shown any he looks at inadvertently or otherwise. So kinda cheating yes, but also kinda not.

Yes I tend to agree..it is normal to feel somewhat betrayed by the fact he feels he needs to or wants to veiw this material. A form of insecurity on my behalf I guess.

I kind of get also that he is not doing it to upset me by the same token..its something men do...and they may not see why we see it as a problem.

I was just wondering initially if some pple considered it cheating..clearly a lot of females/men get upset if theyre partners look at porn, as if its a betrayal.

Ok I see what your saying, but im wondering if men and women veiw porn for the same reasons.

I think most would subscribe to the view that men are more visually appreciative than females..but that would be more a stereotype than anything else perhaps.
