I believe so, yes.  From my personal experiences.

I have had time (one at least) when have sensed the spirit of one who had passed away.
Would think it must have been my spirit sense them.

What about like today, when I dropped by my catholic friend for a chat when she had just sent a email, asking how I was gong ?  Was not for anyting important from either of us, just a sort of keeping in touch thing. Did our spirits ... prompt it, or does Gods spirit prompt it ?
