Here is a thought about giving.

It is not just the financial value of what is given.
It is how much it "cost" the giver to give it away.

The other week I was asked to give something away and it was very hard to do.
It was not the value of it at all, it meant more to me than the value of it .
I was being selfish, to the person I gave it to, it meant much more than what it meant to me.

He gave me a good lesson there.
