What is anyones thoughts of Angels ?
Impressions, ideals ??

I don't want to give mine, as that may ...... limit/stifle any new thoughts.

Some angels are working angels.
They are about 7 - 8 foot tall, very muscular, power eminates from them, wings like eagles.
Many are battle scarred.

It's a shame you don't have a photo to show us.

I believe we all have angels hovering around us.  Some are good and some are bad, but overall they are there to protect us.  Often when you get into a scrape and manage to escape it safely - that's one of our angels helping us.

The Angel in on route to another job, this is just a small detour he took on command.  The task he is on now is generally done by "lower" angels, he was just on the scene at the time.
He is on his way to a BIG heavenly battle.
The Angel has a wing that is partially broken from a previous battle."

I don't have any thoughts about angels as they don't exist in the real
world—other than in the fertile imaginations of impressionable, gullible
or fearful individuals.   They're supernatural entities.

The Skeptic's Dictionary explains them nicely.

There’s something there…. In a different realm… how many times have we had a close call and thought there must be something looking out for us!
And then there’s that expression to never drive faster than your angels can fly.

But alas, we all have free will no matter who or what is in another realm…. but often I had thought… is it luck or is it something more that’s at play?

Then I think of little kids that are sexually abused and ruined… where’s their protection? Is a demonic presence in certain adults stronger than a child’s protective angel?

When my grandfather had cancer, we had to travel to Yeppoon every afternoon after school to visit him in hospital. After a few days of doing this, I was getting sick of the travel. I asked my parents why we have to keep driving out to Yeppoon each day. Dad responded that this might be the last day to see granddad.

I was tired from the school day and was a bit inattentive to what was going on. But, halfway to the hospital, along the main stretch of Yeppoon Road, I had this sudden awakening as if someone had called my name. I sat up suddenly and asked "What was that?". I don't remember the response I got, if I got a response. I looked at the clock on the car. 3:30pm.

We got to the hospital about 15 minutes later. The doctor came over to talk to us to tell us that granddad had passed. He died at 3:30 that day.

Given that I am schizophrenic, I usually put all kinds of supernatural experiences down to my schizophrenia. But, at age 12, I was well before the age where I had schizophrenia. Granddad's passing was the only time I have ever had this feeling of angels watching.
