Good club, used to go there. This is most likely organised crime related, failure to pay protection money probably.

Now if the patrons were armed however.... doubt this would have happened. No one in their right minds will storm a place full of armed drunks ;D

Do you think the "invaders" might have thought it was a gay club and decided to do some gay bashing.

It sounds a bit suspect - maybe there's something else going on there - selling drugs, gambling etc.

It's not a usual occurrence.

Once again it is the Lebanese to blame. Micheal Ibrahim was the gangster that ran the Beef and Bourbon un til he was shot by lebanese gunmen from a rival mafia style gang. it is obvious that the new club was in opposition to the Beef and etc.

These lebanese are christians, or atleast call themselves christians, and their families have been here for over 30 years. A lot of people have said that Lebanese Christians are the real trouble makers and not the muslims, interesting...

I'd agree that Christian Lebanese cause problems as well from my personal experience.

I've never heard these opinions about the Labanese Christians. Could you please enlighten me?

What does this matter to you seriously? English man.

Well, in the global context, I'm interested individual's opinions about a group whom I have heard nothing about. Nothing else. I'm sure Lebanese Christians don't only exist in Australia, and if they do I'd find that interesting too.

I just want to learn about the World we live in, doesn't everybody?

Leon - young lebanese males - christian or otherwise, would probably be one of the most detested minority in Australia - especially hated by other males.  Apparently they wear too much ostentatious jewellery, they cut their hair too short and their cars and boom boxes are too noisy.

They have no respect for Australian women and think that they themselves are God's gift to the planet.

They are represented this way through the media but are especially entertaining in comedies like Fat Pizza.

This is not my personal view.
