But Colour-Blind people can see far better in the Dark (of Night) than normal people can.

Something lost, is something gained. ;)

Oh bugger, I got something in my eye  ;)

A relative who is colour blind imported specialist glasses from the UK so he could gain his Master Mariners certification.

So these glasses allow him to see 'colours' regarding the needs of his Master Mariner's Cert?

I enjoyed reading Chuck Yaegar's book about his life. He had extremely long vision and could see enemy planes/jets 15mins before he came into their scope of vision. It allowed him and his fellow pilots to attain 'surprise' attack advantage.

There is an island in the Pacific, where 80% of the population are colour-blind, but their 'night vision' is 20% better than us normals.

My vision allows me to see things before they happen.
I lost my ability to be a 'Down Under' Australian.
But I gained the ability to be a 'Day Ahead' Australian  ;)

Works for me as does the old adage.

The fewer letters in the colour the fewer letters in what they stand for. :)

You can always tell the real 'Sailors of the Seas' - the ones that 'live on the waters of life' because they say "Larboard" rather than Port. To them 'Port' is a place to put ships into land for a rest and a bottle of drink.

I learn't I left my Port at Home...  the true 'Home' of the true Sailor, is not a Port - it is the Sea itself.

Cold night, strange dreams
Memory stuck like glue
Her face, her voice
Sail across the seas with you
Can you hear all the angels?

When you feel like you're out there on your own
Know there is someone watching over you
When out at sea, feels love can let go
Oh sailor, we will blow the wind right
But if you die out there, tearing you into two
I hope you know that you could sail right on
I hope you know you got the ocean blue

No sound worse than silence
A curse that grows
Big words kept in
Whispers of dreams untold
Just don't fight all the angels

When you feel like you're out there on your own
Know there is someone watching over you
When out at sea, feels love can let go
Oh sailor, we will blow the wind right
But if you die out there, tearing you into two
I hope you know that you could sail right on
I hope you know you got the ocean blue

When you feel like you're out there on your own
Know there is someone watching over you
When out at sea, feels love can let go
Oh sailor, we will blow the wind right
But if you die out there, tearing you into two

I hope you know you got the ocean blue

When you feel like you're out there on your own
Know there is someone watching over you
When out at sea, feels love can let go
Oh sailor, we will blow the wind right
But if you die out there, breaking you into two
I hope you know that you could sail right on
I hope you know you got the ocean blue

"I left my Port at Home".

In this instance "Port" means bag or suitcase.  ;)

Yeah - well, I somehow don't believe that.
I'll go out on a branch here and say the 'Science' is WRONG.  :P
How would they 'replicate' the colours of their surroundings so well and 'exact'?

If they are indeed 'colour-blind. Then maybe they exhibit paranormal abilities beyond human perception to absorb the  'look' of their immediate environment with a few mathematical adjustments.  :D

Yeah well, umm. I don't take a (Aust) language based upon the lazy inability to think properly due to inebriation... 'too seriously'.  ;D

Perhaps because the Lefties are red color blind is why they can't see that Labor and the unions are Commos ?
