Title: PAULINE HANSON Post by freediver on Jan 16th, 2007 at 5:55pm
HANSON IS BACK ! ! ! http://ozpolitic.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1172472462
Our debt to Pauline http://ozpolitic.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1172041500 http://www.smh.com.au/news/National/Hanson-pens-book-to-answer-lies/2007/01/16/1168709743808.html Right-wing firebrand Pauline Hanson says she's penned an autobiography because she's sick of getting "kicked in the guts" and wants to answer the "untruths and lies". The former One Nation leader said she was focusing on the March 29 release of the book before mounting a political comeback at this year's federal election. Ms Hanson said it marked "my time to put across my side of the story". "I just want it to set the record straight - that's really what it's all about, you know?" Ms Hanson told AAP. "I'm sick of getting kicked in the guts over the years and I'm sick of these people coming out with their lies and their untruths and I just thought it's my time." She said the book "in a fair and just way" chronicled her life, including her childhood, her controversial political career and her 11-week stint in prison in 2003 for electoral fraud before her conviction was overturned and she was released. "Look it's not a book where it's 'Hey, wow, I've been absolutely fantastic' - I've been truthful in the book," Ms Hanson said. "It tells people a lot about me, my childhood, my background. "...I'm just saying this is what's happened behind the scenes, this is what's happened to me and why decisions were made and why I had to do these things." She said the few people who had read the book "thoroughly enjoyed" it but she would let "people make up their own minds". "I know it's gone to print and I'm really happy about that - it's been a big job, very big," Ms Hanson said. |

I won't buy the book - but if it's available at the library, I'll borrow it. It might make interesting reading - although Pauline Hansen doesn't interest me much, the last few years of her life have been pretty colourful.
She is also quite strong - not to have had her spirit broken by all the controversy and plotting the major parties did to get rid of her. |

Title: Re: Pauline does a Mark Latham Post by dirtysanta on Jan 20th, 2007 at 9:05am
It may bare a few suprises and i hope she tips a bucket on the people in the media that took some of her quotes out of context in the name of sensationalism.
I dont think she should have gone to jail, that was an utter disgrace, she was a scapegoat, plain and simple. To my mind she spoke the way a lot of Aussies think but was not prepared for the hammering she would get from the media for airing those views At least she had the intestinal fortitude to stand by her remarks and made every effort to put them back into focus in a bumbling sort of way. I like the lady and even considered giving her one for good luck |

Title: Re: Pauline does a Mark Latham Post by mantra on Jan 21st, 2007 at 11:36am
It's obvious that anyone who threatens the major parties is going to be vilified. ALP & the Libs have the media on their side unfortunately.
You can see how the Greens are vilified by the major parties for their integrity - those who have the guts to stand up for the truth are persecuted. |

Rural Australia owes a great debt of gratitude to Pauline Hanson. Without her exquisite personification of the inarticulate rage so common in the bush, there would have been no other conduit for the delivery of such an enormous kick to that most sensitive part of our political powerbrokers’ anatomy, the (ballot) box.
They got her in the end of course, with a brutality that only a society with such corrupt sophistication can deliver, then completed the job with a softly-softly drenching in milk and honey. How long will we have to wait until our next Pauline Hanson emerges to ignite the passions of the voiceless horde? |

Title: Re: Our debt to Pauline Post by Aussie Nationalist on Feb 21st, 2007 at 6:21pm
Hopefully, not long mate. The way things are going, with many Australians remembering who they are, and what they are losing or have lost, there will be a savior of our country who will rise, who is honest, someone with national pride, someone who cares for the farmer and the common worker, believes in the idea that we should be one people, a leader to be equal with the people and be as one with the people.
The struggle will be hard, but we will get there my friend. Pauline is the founder of our newfound hope for this country, she was the first and will definately not be the last. The polititians will find it much harder to silence and dispose of our next spokesman, Nationalism amongst the masses is on the rise. And if they succeed in silencing the next of our speakers, another shall take their place, and again they shall come and go, another will take their place gripped and inspired anew, because the idea of nationalism is the expression of our people and a symbol of the eternal which is our nation. Pauline was valuable because she showed in a real way that people were willing to vote and support someone with views that were so politically incorrect. Behind the secrecy of the ballot box Real Australians can be heard - if they have someone who is delivering the message that they want to hear.

Title: Re: Our debt to Pauline Post by dirtysanta on Feb 22nd, 2007 at 10:56pm
The only real mistake she made was she was too honest which of course is politicly incorrect
Also a few of her candidates were found wanting in debating and memory skills which reflected on her in the end.Her ideals were those of Mr and Mrs Average, the small people who have to put up with everyday events that the governments can turn a blind eye to,ie;muslim encroachment on our values,or saying sorry for something that happened 200+ years ago,or making fit people work for the dole. Its all relevant to the lowering of our standards but people like her will get shafted by big business every time. |

Title: Re: Our debt to Pauline Post by Aussie Nationalist on Feb 22nd, 2007 at 11:25pm
Not to bag out ms hanson, but she was'nt the smartest human on earth. Moreover, she did'nt have the WILL to continue. There is no such thing as being politically correct, anyone who bends to todays society of weak multiculturist rat bags is not worthy of speaking for the people.
There is nothing wrong with honesty, in fact, it is the basis of free speech. Pauline opened up the idea of Australian Nationalism, and it is up to us MEN who will take up the struggle. As men, we wont give up so easily and as i stated earlier, someone will take our place. Lets hope its soon. I for one, would like to take up the challenge,if the people would want me. |

There are plenty of people still alive today who had their wages taken under offical state policies. People don't recover from that very quickly. It can take a few generations. Is a fair day's pay for an honest day's work too much to ask for? |

Why should WE apologise for something we never did.
If the abo's want an apology, they ought to contact Queen Elizabeth the 2nd. She's a decendant of the royal rulers of the 1700's and 1800's. And the so-called stolen generation(those that were taken out of the dirt) Ask the decendants of our polititians of the 1950's and 60's. |

Why should WE apologise for something we never did.
There are plenty of Australians still alive who did do it, or who supported the government that did it. No one is going to force you to personally apologise, or kiss their butts. But it would be nice to acknowledge that a lot of the welath in this country comes from what was effectively slavery, and that many of those slaves are still alive and deserve justice. Former one nation leader pauline hanson has announced she will run for the senate in this years federal election. Ms Hanson said late last year she would make a political comeback but did not say which house she would run for.
She's now decided she will stand for a Queensland seat in the upper house. Ms hanson entered politics in 1996 when she won the federal queensland seat of oxley. The liberal party later dumped her because of her strong views and she formed her own one nation party which she later left.(because of david oldfields corruption) She has promised people can expect the same strong veiws from her when she runs in this election. -------------------------------------------------------------- BLOODY FANTASTIC! watch to pollies squeal once again as they did a few years back. 8-) |

Well i can see that auzgurl does not know the meaning of the word racist. she is passing the word around alot lately,in an incorrect manner. let me educate you.
Racist- Theory that distinctive characteristics, abilities, etc are determined by race. By this meaning, has anyone of us said that problems belong to one race only? Whats more, what is harmful about racism, when you read carefully the meaning. I think you have been caught up in the sensationalism of the human rights system, with their chants and ''peaceful'' protests, following, and not truly understanding. |
|
Title: Re: HANSON IS BACK ! ! ! Post by freediver on Feb 27th, 2007 at 12:41pm
What is harmful about racism is that it leads people to make false judgements about others. It undermines a society.

Those that are in the know,; what i mean about that is people who see it how it is- as a truth, those that have researched their claims and are driven by truth alone and not by predjudice.
then there is the type who dont know- these are the ones which give nationalism a bad name, eg; i dont like you because you are black. That is not a very well thought out belief. |
|
Title: Re: HANSON IS BACK ! ! ! Post by freediver on Feb 27th, 2007 at 6:17pm
Could you give some examples of these 'truths'?
|
|
Title: Re: HANSON IS BACK ! ! ! Post by Aussie Nationalist on Feb 27th, 2007 at 6:37pm
Some Examples;
1. Islamic extremism is not practiced only by arabians, but of all races. therefore, we cannot only blame the lebs. 2.Not all abo's are drunk low lives, some are workers, therefore we cannot say they are all bad for society. 3.Not all foreign immigrants choose to retain their old customs and they assimilate with us, therefore we cant hate them all. |

im sure i could understand. Freediver, what is ''eugenics""? |
|
Title: Re: HANSON IS BACK ! ! ! Post by freediver on Feb 27th, 2007 at 7:10pm
It's where you try to attribute inherent mental or physical abilities to genetic traits specific to certain races, and try to 'improve' things by controlled selective breeding of humans. It was used by Hitler to justify the holocaust and Aryan breeding programs. I think trying to read people's intelligence from the shape of their head is also eugenics.

HA HA HA HA HA very funny. im sooooo hurt ! ;D
Where did i ever try to incite hatred? have i ever said i hate the abo's? My views will NEVER change. The abo's should be thankful it was'nt the french that got here first, and that we were here when the japs tried to invade as they would have annihilated the abo's. Have you read some of my posts from ''should we change our flag''. you'll find something interesting i wrote about an abo i met in brisbane. Ive also met good ones in darwin, quite insperational i might add. I do recognise wrongs were done, and somebody should apologise, but i wont. i or my ancestors had nothing to do with abo's. Its not our fault that there are drunken impoverished abos around. our government has done lots for them. eg; we gave them free accomodation and they burnt down their huts. The only way they can be helped is only if they want to help themselves. I tell you what. as a sign of good faith and to show im not a bad bloke, ill remove the centrelink flags just for you. |

Title: Hanson launches her own political party Post by freediver on May 25th, 2007 at 11:03am
http://www.smh.com.au/news/National/Hanson-launches-her-own-political-party/2007/05/24/1179601570186.html
Former One Nation party founder Pauline Hanson has put her name to a new party which she hopes will help her win a Senate spot at the next election. More than a decade after she first entered federal parliament, Ms Hanson has launched a new political party - Pauline's United Australia Party. "I am standing as a Senate candidate for Queensland and it was essential for me to have a party structure so I can have my name placed above the line on the ballot paper," Ms Hanson said. Diseased migrants swamping Qld: Hanson http://www.smh.com.au/news/National/Diseased-migrants-swamping-Qld-Hanson/2007/06/13/1181414365252.html Pauline Hanson has accused the federal government of allowing thousands of Papua New Guineans carrying HIV and tuberculosis into Australia. The former One Nation leader said once the migrants disembark from their motorised canoes, they hit the shops in Queensland's regional cities. "The Howard government is putting all Australians at risk by allowing thousands of seriously ill PNG citizens to enter Australia virtually at will under the Torres Strait Treaty of 1985," Ms Hanson said in a statement. PNG opposition labels Hanson a 'racist' http://www.smh.com.au/news/National/PNG-opposition-labels-Hanson-a-racist/2007/06/14/1181414467355.html Senate candidate Pauline Hanson has inflamed tensions with Papua New Guinea after suggesting thousands of its nationals are bringing HIV and tuberculosis into north Queensland. PNG's political opposition hit back, declaring Ms Hanson a "racist". "It is a racist comment by a racist person and that we in this country are disappointed," opposition leader Peter O'Neil told the ABC. PNG Community Development Minister Dame Carol Kidu said Ms Hanson was ill-informed. One Nation in NSW dumps Pauline name http://www.smh.com.au/news/National/One-Nation-in-NSW-dumps-Pauline-name/2007/06/27/1182623974003.html The NSW branch of Pauline Hanson's One Nation party has moved to dump the founder's name from its title in a rebranding exercise for the upcoming federal election. The application to the Australian Electoral Commission (AEC) comes 18 months after the former party leader and pin-up of far-right politics, first asked for her name to be removed. At the time, objections from within and outside the party prevented the erasure. Hanson undone by the inability of her supporters to follow simple instructions: Hanson to register new 'Pauline' party http://www.smh.com.au/news/National/Hanson-to-register-new-Pauline-party/2007/08/15/1186857553354.html Right-wing firebrand Pauline Hanson has applied to register a new political party ahead of the upcoming federal election. The former One Nation leader, who hopes to win a Queensland senate seat at the election, has applied to the Australian Electoral Commission to register Pauline's United Australia Party. Ms Hanson, 53, has made the move in the hope of having the party's abbreviated name, Pauline, appear above the line on the Senate ballot paper. "Last time when I stood a lot of people voted for me below the line and only put a one in the box which carried my name and didn't fill out every other box," she told ABC Radio. "Therefore their vote was invalid. "By having my name above the line it will clearly show where people can vote." |

Title: Some migrants 'don't want to be Aussies' Post by freediver on Nov 4th, 2007 at 4:31pm
This is just absurd. Why would people come here if they didn't want to be Australian? The people who were least willing to adapt were Europeans. We are still not getting voer the fact that we can't turn this country into Europe. She resorted to complete gibberish when asked what Australian values actually are.
http://www.smh.com.au/news/National/Some-migrants-dont-want-to-be-Aussies/2007/11/04/1194117866605.html Senate hopeful Pauline Hanson has accused the federal government of opening up the immigration floodgates to people "who have no intention of being Australian". Ms Hanson, who is running under the banner of Pauline's United Australia Party, was campaigning on similar policies to those that won her international notoriety a decade ago, including calling for a moratorium on Muslim immigration. Ms Hanson, who co-founded the One Nation party, listed "Australian values" as the nation's culture, way of life and standard of living. Family First rewarding Hanson: Democrats http://www.smh.com.au/news/National/Family-First-rewarding-Hanson-Democrats/2007/11/05/1194117939553.html The Australian Democrats have accused Family First of "rewarding" Pauline Hanson for her "extremist" views by giving her its preferences. The right-wing firebrand's chances of being elected to a Queensland senate seat have been boosted by Family First, which has revealed it will give her its preferences after the coalition. Fielding defends Hanson preference http://www.smh.com.au/news/breaking-news/fielding-defends-hanson-preference/2007/11/11/1194724814998.html Family First Leader Steve Fielding has defended his party's decision to preference Pauline Hanson above the Greens and the Democrats in the race for the Senate in Queensland. Family First has given its first preferences to the coalition, but has placed Pauline's United Australia Party above the Greens and Democrats. Senator Fielding was asked on Sunday whether his party's preference decision was putting Muslim, African or Asian "families first". "You have to preference every single party, you don't have to have things in common with those parties, but you have to preference every single party," Senator Fielding said. Asked whether he felt comfortable with the fact that his party's preferences could deliver Ms Hanson a Senate seat, Senator Fielding dodged the question. Australian Democrats Leader Lyn Allison said there was a very real chance Ms Hanson could end up back in parliament as a result of Family First's preferences.
